Where is it?
BC Academy is located in Umm Suqeim 2, Dubai, UAE.
What were we hired to do?
BC Academy hired Moon Kids to design, build and install a complete early years classroom. The room is organised into clear learning zones in natural timber, white and bright yellow. Along the walls, house-shaped timber role-play units labelled Garage, Cooking and Super Market sit beside a shop stall with a striped awning and a play kitchen, encouraging imaginative play. Cosy corners include soft yellow armchairs around a low round table, house-shaped reading nooks with grey cushions, a play tent and an arched mirror. For table work we supplied white hexagonal and round tables with yellow chairs, supported by low timber shelving, open storage units, mobile trolleys with yellow trays, tiered plant stands and mobile whiteboard and display units. A separate rest area has stacking timber beds and a round yellow table with matching chairs. Everything was built at child height with rounded edges and hard-wearing, child-safe finishes, creating a bright, well-organised classroom where children can learn, play and rest.
