Where is it?
Kinderwood Nursery is located in the UAE.
What were we hired to do?
Kinderwood Nursery hired Moon Kids to design, build and install an indoor play area for its youngest children. The centrepiece is a timber castle-style play house with turrets and arched windows, a climbing wall with colourful holds and steps leading up to a smooth slide that lands on a soft padded mat. A curving red and green floor path runs through the room, past a row of house-shaped timber shelving units and an arched alcove with green cushioned bench seating. Along the walls we added interactive play panels, including a pegboard ball-run wall with coloured chutes and a busy board with gears and clocks, plus blue fabric pocket storage on a bright green panel to keep resources tidy. A timber camel cut-out and a cork pinboard add a local touch and space to display children’s work. Everything was built in natural timber finishes at child-safe heights with rounded edges and hard-wearing materials, creating a warm, safe space for active and imaginative play every day.
