Where is it?
First Path Montessori is located at Al Asayel St Business Bay Bay Square, Dubai, UAE.
What were we hired to do?
First Path Nursery hired Moon Kids to design and install an indoor play area built around a two-level role-play street. The timber façade is finished in soft green and cream with pitched roofs, arched doorways, shuttered windows and striped awnings, and includes a bakery front, a mini shop and chalkboard menu panels for everyday imaginative play. A staircase leads up to a raised mezzanine deck with a full safety balustrade and a green slide back down to the floor, while the ground level holds a soft play zone with a crawl tunnel, arch climber, rocker and foam shapes over cushioned matting. Behind the shop fronts we created enclosed playhouse rooms and a quiet reading corner fitted with a wall-mounted desk, chairs and open storage shelving, along with an artificial grass area and soft rugs to zone the space. Every element was built to child-safe heights with rounded edges and hard-wearing finishes, so the nursery can move easily between active play, role play and calm learning.
